Emergency Communication
Reporting an emergency situation
- At Malibu: notify the Department of Public Safety at (310) 506-4441.
- Calling the Department of Public Safety allows a Public Safety officer to respond directly to the scene. If outside emergency personnel are needed, an additional officer will meet them at the entrance to campus and escort them to the correct location. If you call 911 from the Malibu campus, 911 dispatchers will see the call arriving from the corner of Malibu Canyon and Pacific Coast Highway and not know where to specifically respond on campus.
- At all other California campuses: call 911. Then call the Department of Public Safety at (310) 506-4442.
