Pepperdine Monitoring This Week’s Rain Forecast – Update #1

Los Angeles County officials have announced the preemptive rain-related closure of Malibu Canyon just south of Piuma through Francisco Ranch Road/Adamson Flats Road beginning at 8 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 and running through the end of the storm (with no specific end time, but likely at least through the end of Thursday).

Please exercise caution when traveling to and from campus, allow extra time for your commute, and stay informed about weather or road conditions. Greater Los Angeles road conditions are available at www.sigalert.com. Updates specific to roads near the Malibu campus will be made to the Road Conditions Hotline at 310.506.7623 (ROAD).
