Car Ramming in London
This morning a car ramming took place in London’s South Kensington area near Exhibition Road. All Pepperdine students currently participating in Pepperdine’s London international programs at Seaver College and the School of Law are safe and accounted for at this time. The incident is being investigated as a automobile accident. Pepperdine will continue to monitor the security situation in the United Kingdom and around the globe.
Terrorist Attack in London
This morning a terrorist attack took place in the London Tube near the Parsons Green Station. The attack injured 22 and authorities have warned individuals to expect a heightened security presence. All Pepperdine students currently participating in Pepperdine’s London international programs at Seaver College and the School of Law are safe and accounted for at this time. Pepperdine will continue to monitor the security situation in the United Kingdom and around the globe.
Pepperdine Monitoring Small Plane Crash Near Irvine Graduate Campus
Pepperdine officials are monitoring a small plane crashed on the 405 Freeway adjacent to John Wayne Airport. The situation has closed the freeway.
GSEP has canceled classes at the Irvine Campus for Friday, June 30.
Pepperdine Continues to Monitor Two Wildfires
Pepperdine University officials continue to monitor the Stokes Fire and the Topanga Fire. The Los Angeles County Fire and Los Angeles Fire Departments continue to fight the fires and an incident command post is open at the Drescher Campus.
At this time the fires are not threatening any of Pepperdine’s southern California campuses.
Malibu Canyon is open. Topanga Canyon is closed.
