Pepperdine University Officials Monitor Protesters at West L.A. Campus
Pepperdine University officials are monitoring protesters outside and inside the West L.A. campus building lobby. They are protesting another tenant in the building that has no relation to Pepperdine. The protesters are currently blocking first floor entrances and elevators, and denying access to higher floors in the building. Pepperdine Public Safety officials, building security, and Los Angeles Police Department are on-scene.
If Pepperdine employees are comfortable, they may connect with Public Safety (310.506.4442) to be escorted into the building by on-site Pepperdine Public Safety officials. However, if employees feel uncomfortable, they are encouraged to contact their supervisors to make arrangements to work remotely until the situation is resolved.
