Pepperdine Monitoring Road and Weather Conditions

Pepperdine University continues to monitor weather forecasts, burn area slopes, and road conditions. The Emergency Operations Committee is in close communication with Los Angeles County officials, particularly regarding area road conditions along Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu Canyon Road, and Kanan Dume Road. Taking into account rainfall and anticipated road conditions, and whether the community can safely access the Malibu campus, University officials will decide whether the campus will be open and classes held tomorrow, Thursday, November 29, 2018. This decision will be communicated to the Pepperdine community via email and on the University’s Emergency Information Page by 6 AM tomorrow.
