Power Outage Impacting Portions of Campus

Due to a Southern California Edison (SCE) underground equipment failure, portions of Malibu and Pepperdine’s Malibu Campus are experiencing a power outage. Power has been restored to some areas of campus.  The following areas currently do not have power: Thornton Administrative Center, the Center for Communications and Business, President’s Drive, Tiner Court, Baxter Drive, Student Assistance Center, George Page Apartments, and the Caruso School of Law. 

University administrators are in contact with SCE, and their teams are working to address the issue. SCE now estimates they will have full power restored to the Malibu Campus by 9 PM tonight.
