Pepperdine Monitoring the Knolls Wildfire – Final Update

The Los Angeles County Fire Department is reporting they have the Knolls fire near Hughes Research Laboratory under control. Firefighters will remain in the area to conduct mop up operations and monitor the burn areas for the next several hours to ensure the fire is extinguished. At this time road closures remain in place on Malibu Canyon Road, and traffic may continue to to be impacted on Pacific Coast Highway.

This will be the final update on the fire unless conditions materially change.
