UPDATE: Individual of Concern for West LA Campus

Posted on

To ensure you continue to have the latest available information, we provide the following update: This evening, a PGBS employee reported to Public Safety that she believes she saw Brian Cain standing outside the Howard Hughes Center, near Starbucks, this morning  at approximately 9:30 am.  The man she believed to be Brian Cain was wearing black jeans, a blue windbreaker, black gloves, and a medical mask.  While the University cannot independently confirm the identity of the man, we are treating it as a possible sighting of Brian Cain out of an abundance of caution.

West L.A. campus building security and University security are aware and responding accordingly, including conducting perimeter checks this evening and throughout the day tomorrow. Further, the Los Angeles Police Department is actively investigating the situation and has been made aware of this new information.

If Brian Cain (picture below) is seen on or near campus, call 911 and then, when safe to do so, call the Public Safety Dispatch Emergency Line at 310.506.4441.
