Road Closures Near Malibu Campus Update

The Malibu campus is open and operating, and classes will be held today as regularly scheduled. Road closures at Malibu Canyon Road and Topanga Canyon Road will remain in place until Los Angeles County Public Works and CalTrans can ensure the stability of the hillsides. An estimated time to reopen is currently unknown. All other major access routes to the Malibu campus are open. Drivers are urged to use caution and good judgment as rocks, mud, and debris may be encountered on roadways leading to campus.

The University will continue to monitor road conditions, and changes will be shared on the Road Conditions Hotline at 310.506.ROAD. Community members are advised to regularly check the hotline before traveling to campus, especially during inclement weather conditions.
